I dedicate "Learnthaiyogamassage.it" to Asokananda, my teacher and dearest friend who prematurely passed away in June 2005

Asokananda has been the most important source of knowledge, the most important guide and inspiration for my Thai Massage and Vipassana meditation development. He was, and still is, a living example of Loving kindness and Compassion for myself and for anyone who has crossed his path.

About Andrea

Andrea Baglioni, born in 1964 in northern Italy, has been practicing and studying the art of northern style thai yoga massage for over 17 years..

His training started at the Old Medicine Hospital (foundation of Jivaka Kumar Bhaccha) in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Thereafter, he has extensively trained with Asokanada (author of The Art of Traditional Thai Massage – the first western book on the subject) and the renowned master of Thai massage Pichet Boonthumme.

The Sunshine Network is a worldwide, loosely connected, network of friends of the late Asokananda, who support the teaching of Thai Yoga Massage, Yoga, Ayurvedic massage, Tai Chi and Vipassana Meditation.

The Network was foundered by Asokananda (Harald Brust), a pioneer in bringing Thai Yoga Massage to the west, who sadly passed away in June 2005.
